Sophrona
Davis
The
1880 U.S. Census for Milam County, TX. shows Sophrona Davis as single and
living with her parents, Dr. Alfred Davis and Elizabeth A. Davis. When she
died in 1891, she was buried in what was then the Melugin Plot of Oak Hill
Cemetery in Lampasas, TX. As she is buried by herself, it is assumable that
she never married.
