var title         = 'Mabry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway';
var intro         = 'The picturesque Mabry Mill is probably the most frequently photographed and most recognizable grist mill in the nation.  In spite of that... here I go.  When I was a child the interior workings of this mill still operated.  Today the belts that operated the various tools Ed Mabry had attached to his wheel have been removed and the mill no longer cuts, grinds, etc.  Still it is a study in water driven mill technology.  The many uses Mr. Mabry devised for his mill might surprise a few viewers that haven\'t seen it for themselves.<br><br>When viewing these photos one needs to remember that the U.S. Park Service \"spruced up\" this mill significantly when they restored it.  Although it is a historical representation of the original nearly all parts where either brought in from other mills or created on site. ';
