The 4th Infantry Division |
The 4th Infantry Division Jazz Group, The Fire Base Four, was made up of members of the larger full band, including: Ken Pesile on drums, Steve Cambell on bass, Sgt. Carpenter on alto sax and I guy whose name I forget on tenor sax. Like the Folk Group the advantage of the Jazz Group was its size. It could travel light which was a big advantage when entertaining in contested area. These cuts were recorded in the E.M. club on Camp Enari. |
