The 4th Infantry Division Folk Group was made up of members of
the 4th Infantry Division Band. These cuts were recorded in the
E.M. club on Camp Enari and the Officers Club. Members of the Folk
Group included, Dennis "Doc" Rogers, Keith Moritz, Dan
King, Leo Warbington and others. The small size of this group made
it easier for the group to entertain troops in contested areas.
These cuts were recorded at the E.M. club on Camp Enari. The recording
conditions were a LOT less than ideal. The tape recorder used was
a Sony 355 reel to reel. Only two mikes were used and no mixing
was available. The power supply was never steady and was usually
a diesel or gasoline powered generator that caused significant voltage
fluctuations.
